What you'll learn

Product plus sales is your superpower

Don't play telephone with the people who talk to customers. Own both seats, get closer to the truth, do more with less.

Start with building blocks, not big bets

Ship the smallest primitives that solve one real problem, instead of committing a feature roadmap from day-0 guesses.

Go deep in one vertical before you go wide

Win one focused vertical first and expand with what you learn, instead of going broad and shallow across everyone.

Let the market pull the product out of you

Double down and productize only what customers pull on, the move that lets you sell premium value, not a commodity.

Why this topic matters

It's never been easier to build - or to build what nobody wants. Most 0-1 efforts die the same way: you play telephone with the people who talk to customers, commit a roadmap from day-0 guesses, and go broad and shallow. The alternative: progressive commitment: small, reversible bets that compound. Owning both seats, product and sales, isn't a distraction; it's what puts you closest to the truth. Two operators, two industries, one playbook.

Product + GTM Leader (Lenovo, HPE, Digital Turbine)

I'm a 0-1 product leader. I've worked at the intersection of leading edge tech and AI since 2010.

Somewhere along the way I learned the wins come from wearing a lot of hats. As I crept into sales, marketing, business development and more, my own skills and capabilities compounded. The closer I got to the customer and the deal, the sharper my product instincts became.

Today I'm VP of Product at Realeyes / VerifEye, building deepfake-resistant identity verification. It's an AI product sold 0-to-1 into skeptical, regulated buyers, in a market that looks crowded until you get under the hood. I also built the AI system that runs my own go-to-market, so when I talk about doing more with less, it's from having shipped it.

Founder & CEO @ Orcana.ai - Democratizing analytics for Pharma

I’m Co-founder & CEO of Orcana.AI, an AI-native company helping businesses close the gap between operating plans and actuals with reliable, data-driven insights and actions. Our agentic data-science platform combines generative AI with targeted models to detect anomalies, identify root causes, run “what-if” simulations, and execute strategies within defined guardrails.

Before Orcana, I spent 15+ years across Tech, Marketplaces, and Pharma, helping organizations generate $600M+ in incremental revenue and optimize $300M+ in marketing spend.

Orcana is part of Berkeley SkyDeck. I hold an M.S. in Operations Research from UC Berkeley and an MBA from a leading Indian institution. Outside work, I’m a fitness enthusiast, amateur dancer, and certified paragliding pilot.
